Pricing
$149/month. Every module. Nothing added to your guest’s bill.
One price, per site, published. Most of this category will not tell you what it costs without a sales call, and that is the main reason this page exists.
Put your own numbers in it
Nothing is sent anywhere — this runs in your browser.
Total money your customers pay you, not your profit.
A marina, a storage facility, a rental location or a club.
- Xrise, one site
- $99/mo· $1,188 a year
- A 6% fee charged to your guests
- $1,800a year
At that volume we cost $612 a year less in total.
And the saving is not the main thing. The guest fee comes off your customer at checkout, so your advertised price is not the price they pay. Ours is a line on your own books and nothing is added to theirs.
The 6% is what operators report paying elsewhere. No vendor in this category publishes a booking-fee rate, so treat it as a reasonable comparison and not a quoted figure. Ours is published, and it is the number above.
What is included
All of it. There is no tier that withholds a module, because the thing that makes this worth buying is that one system runs the whole yard — a hull promised to a renter cannot also be promised a slip, and that only works if both modules are on.
- Charters & guided trips
- Boat clubs
- Boat rentals
- Marinas & dry stack
- Self storage

How it compares to a fee charged to your guest
The common arrangement in tours and charters is that the platform bills the operator nothing and adds a fee of around 6% to the guest at checkout. Operators report that figure; no vendor publishes it.
That is not free, it is just not on your P&L. At $149/month, the crossover is about $29,800 a year in bookings. Above that, we cost less in total than a 6% guest fee. Below it, the guest fee is cheaper in absolute terms — and it is still your customer paying it, and your displayed price is still not the price they pay.
We would rather put the crossover on the page than let you find it yourself three months in.
What everyone else publishes
Verified from their own pricing pages, November 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, that is what the row says.
| Vendor | Published price | What the page does not say |
|---|---|---|
| Xrise | $149/month | Every module, no setup fee, no per-booking cut, nothing added to your guest. |
| Checkfront | $99/mo + 3% | One plan. The 3% is on online bookings. |
| Rezdy | $49 / $99 / $249 + 3% | Plus $0.70–1.00 per offline booking, in the comparison grid rather than on the pricing page. |
| Bokun | $0 / $49 / $149 / $499 + 1–1.5% | The free tier cannot sell online. |
| SpeedyDock | From $200/mo dry stack, $200/mo slips, $99/mo POS | A marina running wet slips and a dry stack is $400 a month before the POS module. |
| storEDGE | ~$129/mo per facility | Plus payment-processing margin. Setup fees in this category are commonly quoted at $500–1,500 per facility. |
| FareHarbor | Nothing | No pricing page. Operators report a booking fee of around 6% charged to the guest at checkout; that rate is not published by FareHarbor and we will not state it as fact. |
| Peek Pro | Nothing | Their own blog calls it “custom, quote-based pricing”. |
Scroll the table sideways to see what each page leaves out.
Prices move and ours is one of them. If a row here is out of date, tell us and we will fix it — a comparison table nobody maintains becomes a misrepresentation whether or not anyone meant it to.
The marketplace is a different product
If you also want us sending you customers, that is 6–12% commission on the bookings we send, and nothing when we send none. Your rate is agreed with you and fixed in writing before you list. It never changes without your say-so. You can take either product on its own.
What you should know before you pay anything
- We cannot take card payments on your behalf yet. How money moves is a decision we have not finished making and are not going to half-answer on a call. Everything else works; this does not.
- We invoice this by hand. There is no recurring billing behind it, so nothing appears on your card without us asking you first.
- One operator is live. A charter company in Austin, owned by the same person who owns Xrise. The other modules are built and tested and nobody is running a business on them yet.
Before you ask for a quote
The questions an operator should put to any vendor at this point, including the three where our answer is no.
How long does it take to get going?
A rental fleet, a marina or a storage facility takes a few minutes to create and then as long as it takes you to type in your boats, slips or units. There is no implementation period and nobody has to be scheduled. The parts that genuinely take a while are the ones only you can do: deciding your prices, and getting your existing customers in.
Can you import what I already have?
Not yet, and this is the honest weak spot. You can bulk-add units by label, so a hundred storage units or a row of slips is one paste. Customers, tenancies and booking history have to be typed in or carried over as you go. If you have a thousand tenants, say so before you sign — that is a real cost and we would rather price it in than discover it together.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It is yours and we will send you the lot. There is no export button: it is a support request, we do it by hand, and it is in the agreement that we do it. We would rather tell you that than imply a self-service export exists.
Am I locked in?
No. Month to month, no minimum term, no notice period, and no penalty for leaving. We have not earned a long contract and asking for one would be a way of not having to.
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
Not on the software. One monthly fee per site and nothing per booking, and nothing added to what your guest pays. The marketplace is a separate product with a commission, and you can take the software without it.
Can you take card payments for me?
Not yet. Availability, checkout and confirmations all run on your own site today; taking the card is written and not switched on, because how money moves between you, your customer and us is a decision we have not finished making. We will tell you before it changes rather than after.
Who else is using it?
One charter company in Austin, owned by the same person who owns Xrise. The rentals, marina, boat club and self-storage modules are built and tested and nobody is running a business on them yet. If being the first outside operator is not something you want to be, that is a reasonable position and you should wait.
What happens when something breaks at the weekend?
You message one person and he answers. There is no rota and no ticket queue, so out of hours you are relying on him being awake — which cuts both ways and you should price both. There is no uptime commitment in any agreement.
Do I have to be on the marketplace?
No, and buying the software does not put you on it. It is an optional add-on you can start any time from your own portal, and it is priced separately on commission. Plenty of operators will only ever want the software.
